Neil Phair CTA ACA
Phair & Co. was founded in 2021 by Neil Phair. Neil is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA AITI) with the Irish Tax Institute and an Associate of Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA). Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts (Finance) degree and a Masters in Financial Engineering from Maynooth University.
Prior to setting up Phair & Co., Neil originally spent 7 years working in financial services in both Ireland and Australia and then made the move to professional services, more specifically professional tax services. Neil spent 6 years with a Top 5 accountancy firm, where he completed his training for the Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser qualifications.
During this time, Neil provided a broad range of high quality tax compliance and advisory services to a wide array or clients, including large corporates, private individuals and SME’s. Neil puts an emphasis on the client relationship, which in his view, allows for better communication to assist in solving his client’s problems!
Neil, being originally from Cavan, also founded the ‘Cavan-Dublin Network’ – a network to bring together people living/working in the greater Dublin area who have connections to the Breffni county. The aim of the network is to hold regular social, business and cultural events and create a forum.
Neil is also currently involved in a community rejuvenation project in his home village of Killeshandra in Co. Cavan. The aim of the project is to bring a bit of life back to the town via obtaining community and county funding supports available with the intention of creating sustainable employment in the town. Further updates with specific details on the projects will be released soon.
Neil’s other interests include GAA, Hiking, Association Football, and Dancing.
