Cavan Digital Hub in association with the Cavan/Dublin Network invite you along to our first networking event of 2022 in the wonderful surrounds of the Guinness Enterprise Centre in Dublin 8, following it’s recent €10m expansion.
Our theme for the event is ‘Success in Business, Life and Sport’ and we are delighted to welcome one of Cavan’s most successful sportspeople, our own Catherina McKiernan and Vinnie Quinn from Evercam.
Catherina McKiernan originally hails from Coronea in Co. Cavan. She is an Irish Olympian, European Cross Country champion, the winner of London, Berlin, and Amsterdam marathons, and the current Irish marathon record holder – Catherina McKiernan is regarded as one of the world’s best ever cross country runners.
Catherina won 4 consecutive silver medals in the World Cross Country Championships 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995.
Since her retirement from competitive running, Catherina has devoted herself to teaching and inspiring a new generation of runners. As a ChiRunning instructor with such an impressive international competitive record, Catherina is a sought-after fitness trainer and an expert on the mechanics of safe, injury-free running.
Catherina conducts 1 Day Chi Running Workshops, and Weekly Chi Running Classes suitable for runners of all levels – even beginners. She is also a sought after motivational speaker at conferences and events.

Vinnie Quinn is the Co-founder and Director of Evercam Construction Cameras, which design the latest technology in project management & time-lapse cameras and provide real solutions for the problems faced on construction sites everyday.
After having successfully sold his first company, Jobs.ie, in 2005. Vinnie Quinn setup Evercam in 2010 to help construction companies to make positive use of cameras for marketing, project management and dispute avoidance.
Vinnie is a passionate technology advocate and, together with his long-term business partner Marco Herbst, they have decided to apply themselves to the construction sector.

Delighted to present the third Cavan/Dublin Network’s Member Profile Interview – 5 minutes with All-Ireland winning footballer Barry Cahill.
While being a born and bred sky blue, Barry has a special place in his heart for the royal blue, with both his parents coming from Cavan.
Barry is Business Development Manager with Taxback.com, whose services include a new financial wellbeing service which focuses on the B2B market. Taxback partner with organisations who’d like to offer their tax review/refund service to their company employees.

When the network was founded in May 2018, the aim was to build a business, social and cultural community of people and support network with connections to the Breffni county. I think that community and relationships have never been more important and valued. By launching this monthly newsletter, we hope to raise the profiles of our members in the greater Dublin area and to create a strong social and business support network.
